Screening of promising potato hybrids by drought tolerance indices

Purpose. To evaluate promising potato hybrids for productivity and resistance to drought under water deficit conditions identify genotypes with a high level of adapta­bility abiotic environmental factors. Methods. During 2021–2022, 57 different ripeness groups were studied in the fields breeding crop rotation laboratory Polissia Research Department Institute Potato NAAS Ukraine. Genera­l­ly accepted methods selective statistical analysis used. Results. The research results revealed that dry year, average yield loss all maturity was 15.3 t/ha or 66 % compared indicators wet year. A total percentage drought-resistant moderately distinguished mid-season group.
