چکیده
Purpose. To evaluate promising potato hybrids for productivity and resistance to drought under water deficit conditions identify genotypes with a high level of adaptability abiotic environmental factors. Methods. During 2021–2022, 57 different ripeness groups were studied in the fields breeding crop rotation laboratory Polissia Research Department Institute Potato NAAS Ukraine. Generally accepted methods selective statistical analysis used. Results. The research results revealed that dry year, average yield loss all maturity was 15.3 t/ha or 66 % compared indicators wet year. A total percentage drought-resistant moderately distinguished mid-season group. In 16 samples out 54 ones condition sufficient moisture produced highest (in range 24.4–35.9 t/ha). periods, 21 had (7.8–19.2 following showed an advantage over (Ŷ) 8–9 evaluated tolerance indices: ‘P.15.56-10’, ‘P.17.21/43’, P.19.53/6’, ‘P.17.30-3’, ‘P.17.1-4’, ‘P.18.51/3’, ‘P.17.19-21’, ‘P.17.18/9’, ‘P.17.4/13’ ‘P.17.43/1’, P.17.44-1’, ‘P.17.38/16’, ‘P.17.8-28’, ‘P.17.13/7’ ‘P.17.38-56’. Conclusions. According research, response stress identified. Thus, 5 formed optimal resistant drought; flexible hybrids; 8 demanding supply during process formation. sources ones. An positive correlation (r = 0.528) between yields different established.

Evaluation of selection indices for drought tolerance of corn (Zea mays L.) hybrids
Drought is one of the major problems affecting crops production, including corn, in many parts of Iran. In order to detect drought tolerant grain corn hybrids, an experiment with twenty corn hybrids was conducted during 2006 in Qom Province, Iran, using a complete randomized block design with four replications, under optimal moisture and drought stress condition. Results showed diversity among ...

Drought is the most significant constraint for crop production in arid and semi-arid regions. In order to assess drought tolerance in fifteen rapeseed (Brassica napus) cultivars using yield-based drought tolerance indices, two experiments were conducted at the research station of College of Agriculture, Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran during 2009-2010 growing season. The cultivars were...
